Pedicures and manicures are cosmetic services performed in a beauty salon to the feet and toenails or hands and fingernails. PediCares and ManiCares are healthy alternatives to those routine procedures.  Many of our clients come to us for treatment because of infection or damage from unclean salon care. PediCares and ManiCares in our Delaware, Ohio nail salon are safer alternatives for you.

Our nail salon is designed to serve a wide variety of clients. Even if you have diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) or poor circulation, our CMNT’s understand your need for special, gentle care. All clients find the privacy and comfort of our nail salon superior to other alternatives especially since our new PediCare chair is size-accommodating (up to 600 lb and 7-foot height). You do not have to be a patient of the FAAWC to be seen in our nail salon.

A Certified Medical Nail Technician is a state-licensed nail technician who has an active cosmetology license and has completed advanced training. After taking medical courses and passing examinations, the individual is required to fulfill an internship under the direction of a podiatrist in a medical office. The certification is only earned upon the completion of this training.

Our Certified Medical Nail Technicians are trained to trim toenails and fingernails as well as perform cosmetic reduction of thickened nails, calluses, corns, and ingrown nails. They also provide these foot care services to clients who are at greater risk of infection, including those with diabetes, poor circulation, or impaired feeling in the feet.

Our nail technicians are skilled in nail restoration to return damaged nails to a normal healthy appearance using the KeryFlex Nail Restoration System. If you have an unsightly toenail due to fungal infection or injury, the FAAWC nail salon has a great solution.

After removing all of the old damaged nail, a bonding agent is applied to attach a new durable, natural-looking, flexible toenail made of polymer resins and special activators exposed to a certain frequency of ultraviolet light.

KeryFlex is non-porous which does not allow moisture to permeate between the natural and prosthetic nail. It is infused with an antifungal ingredient and still allows the remaining nail plate to continue to grow. The KeryFlex nail provides an immediate cosmetic improvement and nail polish can be applied and removed just like on a normal nail.

We are proud to offer our salon services in a clean, safe environment within the Foot & Ankle Wellness Center medical office located at      1871 W William St, Delaware, OH 43015.

Services will not be billed to any insurance companies.

While our salon is open to everyone, whether they are a patient of the Foot & Ankle Wellness Center or not, it is required that all persons make an appointment for their salon services. Please call 740.363.4373 to schedule your appointment during our salon hours.

The salon is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 am to 6 pm, Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 3 pm.
